FAQ
Is Imperium Trader the same as the Imperium Option Trading Terminal?
Yes. Imperium Trader is the short name for the Imperium Options Trading Platform, sold through this official store. It was earlier listed as the Imperium Option Trading Terminal: same desktop software, same product page.
What do I get for ₹199?
₹199 gives you 7 days of full access. Auto-renew is selected by default at checkout. Leave it on to authorize ₹499 per month after the introductory period, or turn it off before payment for a one-time ₹199 purchase. The introductory offer can be used once per account.
Will Imperium charge me again automatically?
Auto-renew is selected by default for an eligible monthly checkout, but the Razorpay mandate is created only if you leave it on and approve it. Turn it off before payment for a one-time purchase, or cancel later from Billing without losing paid time. Monthly renewals are ₹499 until cancelled.
Can I top up while monthly auto-renew is active?
Yes. A manual ₹499 top-up adds one month after your existing paid time. It does not move Razorpay's next scheduled debit; when that debit is captured, its month is added after all time already on your account.
What happens if an automatic payment fails?
Razorpay retries a failed monthly debit for up to 3 days. Eligible access receives the same 3-day grace period. Billing shows the retry state and lets you update the payment method; access ends if no payment is captured before grace expires.
Can I switch to lifetime access later?
Yes. Choose lifetime access from this page at any time. It starts when payment is confirmed, keeps all existing access, and automatically cancels any monthly auto-renew mandate so no further scheduled debit is taken.
Which brokers does the platform work with?
Imperium connects through Zerodha, Upstox, Angel One, Dhan, Fyers, Groww and Alice Blue for live market data and order execution across NSE, BSE and MCX derivatives. Each connection uses that broker's own official trading API with keys you generate yourself. Imperium is not affiliated with or endorsed by any broker. More brokers are added as traders ask for them.
Where are my broker credentials stored?
Your API key and secret stay in OS-protected local storage on your computer; Imperium Store does not store them. Market data and non-order broker requests connect directly, as do order requests when the static-IP option is off. If you enable it, supported place, modify and cancel requests travel through an encrypted SSH tunnel to a cloud VM you operate. The relay does not persist or log your credentials. You can revoke the API key in your broker dashboard at any time.
Does the platform check my licence online?
Yes. When you sign in, the platform verifies your email address and Imperium app password against Imperium Store to confirm access, so you need a connection at sign-in. Imperium Store does not receive your broker keys, orders, positions or P&L. Broker traffic follows the direct or optional customer-operated static-IP path described on the Security page.
Does the platform place orders automatically?
Imperium Trader does not select trades or create new entries autonomously. An order that opens a position begins with your action. After you configure them, strategy stoploss, target and trailing-stop rules can send follow-up exit orders, and the trade copier can send corresponding sub-account orders, while the app is running. There is no cloud service trading in the background after the app closes.
Who builds this, and what happens if support stops?
Imperium Trader is built by Kaviarasu Murugan, an independent developer based in Tiruvannamalai, Tamil Nadu, not an incorporated company, and reachable directly on WhatsApp or Instagram. Eight years of options trading and four years of development went into it. The platform runs on your computer. It checks access with Imperium Store at sign-in, and an optional static-IP connection uses a cloud VM operated under your own account. See the About and Security pages for the full details.
What makes the multi-leg execution different?
You pick the strikes once and send them together in a single click, straight from the option chain, instead of filling one order ticket per leg while the spread moves against you. Exits work the same way, in bulk.
Do I need a separate charting subscription?
No. Charting is built in: free-flowing tick data, 20+ configurable indicators, alerts you set directly on the chart, and as many chart windows as your monitors can hold. If an indicator you need is missing, ask and we add it.
Can I practise without using live capital?
Yes. Paper trade through any supported broker account on live data, or upload a CSV of any symbol into market replay and trade that session again at your own pace.
Which operating systems does it run on?
Windows and Linux, on desktops and laptops. The current Windows build is not code-signed, so Windows may show Microsoft Defender SmartScreen or an Unknown Publisher warning. Download it only from your Imperium Store Purchases page. The Linux build is compiled on Linux Mint and works on most distributions, though every distribution is not guaranteed.
Do I need a static IP for the broker API?
Only when your broker requires one. Imperium can create an encrypted SSH tunnel to a cloud VM that you operate under your own account; supported place, modify and cancel requests use that VM's fixed public IP, while other requests remain direct. The VM is not an Imperium server. A provider may offer a free tier, but its pricing, limits and availability are governed by that provider's current terms.
How does the trade copier work?
After you place an order in the main account, the app can send corresponding follow-up orders to configured sub-accounts while it is running. You set the quantity multiplier, a random delay so orders do not go out in lockstep, whether copies use market or limit orders, and optionally a separate static-IP path for the copier.
Does the platform guarantee profits?
No. This is execution and workflow software, not a signal service. Options trading carries a real risk of loss, and every decision, credential and risk limit stays yours.
Disclaimer
This is order execution and analysis software for your own broker account, not investment advice. It does not recommend trades, manage money, select trades autonomously or create new entries on its own. Once you configure them, risk exits and sub-account copies can send follow-up orders while the app is running. Trading derivatives carries substantial risk, including the loss of your entire capital, and no responsibility is accepted for your profit or loss. Past performance does not guarantee future results.
Imperium connects through each broker's own official trading API, using API keys you generate in your broker account. Broker names and logos indicate compatibility only. Imperium Store is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official partner of any broker.
Your broker credentials remain in OS-protected local storage. Optional static-IP order requests use an encrypted tunnel to a cloud VM you operate. See how credentials are handled, or read who builds this.
